The Black Management Forum (BMF) is proud to announce Mr. Mpho Motsei as the newly elected President, a pivotal leadership appointment in our 48-year legacy of advocating for socio-economic transformation. Mr. Motsei is joined by re-elected Deputy President Ms. Lily Moabi and Mr. Jeremiah Klaas, recently appointed to the Board, who together bring fresh vision and dedication to the BMF’s mission of socio-economic transformation.
Mr. Motsei’s election represents a renewed commitment to BMF’s mission of promoting transformational leadership and inclusive representation. Alongside him, Ms. Moabi continues her impactful service as Deputy President, and Mr. Klaas joins as an invaluable voice for South Africa’s young professionals, reflecting the BMF’s dedication to cross-generational leadership development.
In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Motsei expressed appreciation for Ms. Moabi’s strong leadership as Acting President, particularly during a period of transition. He also commended Mr. Klaas, who currently chairs the BMF Cape Town branch, for his commitment to empowering Black professionals and for his innovation in the technology sector. “The vision of the BMF continues to thrive. I am deeply honored to serve with such a talented team, committed to making our organization a driving force in socio-economic change,” Mr. Motsei said. Mr. Mpho Motsei is an accomplished counselor and entrepreneur, with expertise in employee wellness, trauma support, and strategic investments. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology, a Master’s in Public Management, and an MBA. Deputy President Ms. Lily Moabi, a highly respected medical technologist and professional director, specializes in healthcare management and holds an MBA.
Mr. Jeremiah Klaas, Founder and CEO of BlueStone Africa, brings strong expertise in technology and business leadership to the BMF Board. Known for his innovative approach, he is committed to empowering Black professionals and mentoring the next generation of leaders
