As a leading managerial and thought-leadership organisation, the BMF is non-racial and non-discriminatory, welcoming individuals from all races and managerial disciplines who echo its values and principles. Individual membership focuses on advising members on specific strategies and approaches to adopt in tackling the many workplace challenges, while offering the opportunity to attend various networking forums and programmes that focus on evoking thought-leadership, advancing managerial leadership development and socio-economic transformation.
The Young Professional structure caters for post-tertiary individuals and up to the age of 35. The BMF strives to prepare aspiring managers and entrepreneurs to become fully-fledged managers in the challenging South African workspace through various programs and workshops. The BMF offers the Young Professional Development Program, which provides the necessary guidance, and training required by young professionals to ensure they are well prepared and equipped to play an effective managerial leadership role within any organisation. Members are presented with the opportunity for personal and professional development and networking prospects.
The BMF Student Chapter (BMFsc) embodies the BMF mandate of “Developing Managerial Leadership,” most specifically amongst the youth who are a focal point to steer socio-economic transformation. The student chapter endeavours to support aspirant business managers and leaders, providing them with the necessary tools to develop managerial skills while educating them on socio-economic transformation and approaches to handle such challenges.
The Corporate Membership structure allows for the BMF to look at the structure of corporates, advising accordingly on structural practises that talk to socio-economic transformation within organisations. The forum ensures the company structure follows processes that are reflective of the demographics and values of South Africa and the wider society.
The BMF further assists with corporate head-hunting - allowing companies to reach out to the BMF when looking for a suitable candidate, while ensuring corporates adhere to Employment Equity and BEE legislative requirements.JOIN/RENEW
